Only 8 km from the Bio Farm, the village of Jasov is home to one of the most significant caves in the Slovak Karst National Park: Jasov Cave.

Jasov Cave was the first cave to be made accessible to the public in Slovakia, starting in 1846. It is primarily known for its calcite sinter deposits, stunning rock formations, and the development of underground spaces. The cave is also famous for its diverse bat species, archaeological findings, and its fascinating history. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

Approximately 13 km from the farm is the Pod Bukovcom Reservoir, with pleasantly clean water for recreational purposes. During the summer months, it is a popular spot for swimming, water sports, and fishing. You can relax on several beaches equipped with playgrounds for children, beach sports facilities, buffets, and sanitary facilities.

In the winter months, the reservoir is perfect for ice skating or playing ice hockey with friends and family.

The second-largest city in Slovakia offers tourists countless opportunities to explore cultural landmarks, attend sports or social events, visit shopping centers, cafes, high-quality restaurants, and much more.

The main street of Košice is a place that every visitor to Eastern Slovakia should visit. It features landmarks such as the famous Gothic St. Elizabeth Cathedral, the State Theatre of Košice, St. Michael's Chapel, Urban's Tower, a park with a singing fountain, galleries, museums, and more.

Near the village of Malá Ida, just 8 kilometers from the Bio Farm, is the professional 9-hole golf course at the Red Fox Golf Club. Spanning 30 hectares, golf enthusiasts can enjoy playing on wide fairways and large greens with variable hole placements, while the course is enhanced by several water features. The golf area also includes a golf club, offering a place for relaxation and refreshments.

This recreational area with a ski resort is located above the village of Zlatá Idka, approximately 13 km from the farm and just 3 km from the BIO Hotel & Wellness. Kojšovská Hoľa and its surroundings are popular among tourists, skiers, cyclists, cross-country skiers, and ski mountaineers. It offers various activities throughout the year.

During the summer months, you can enjoy hiking, strolling, picking forest fruits, mushroom hunting, visiting the SNP memorial, and many other activities. On clear days, from the top of Kojšovská Hoľa, you can even see the peaks of the High Tatras.
